Collections

Commencing a decade ago, Biotech Screening expanded its services to include specimen collections. Our first customer was New Mexico Community Corrections. We hired United States Armed Services veterans to start and continued thereafter to hire only veterans. Our collectors were all trained in state of the art, observed urine collections as well as common means used to adulterate, hydrate as well as specimen substitution.

From its inception, probation and parole officers rapidly supported this program that supplanted a portion of their extended duties. This not only enabled them to spend far more time supervising offenders in their communities but also provided a more professional staff to conduct collections ensuring accuracy and reliability.

Lab Services

Biotech Screening has the ability to provide drug screening and confirmations at the SAMSHA or CAP certified laboratory. The laboratories can screen specimens at various levels depending on if the customer wishes more aggressive levels than the well-documented SAMSHA levels. They also have the ability to confirm positives at the Limit of Quantitation, the lowest quantifiable level. This is the best fit with a zero tolerance level.
